San Antonio-(RYM)- All I can say is this DARN YOU DERRICK HENRY!!!!!!!

Buccaneers 28, Eagles 22

I am not sure what to make of the game.

TE O.J. Howard catches a TD pass on Thursday night vs The Eagles/Buccaneers

TE O.J. Howard catches a TD pass on Thursday night vs The Eagles/Buccaneers

Good:

Major props to TB12 for being able to keep a team struggling with injuries alive. Brady was at 100% especially with the 3rd down conversion to Brown when they most needed to convert. Brady finished 34 of 42 for 297 yards and 1 INT.

The Eagles kept the game close which is more than we can ask for versus last years Super Bowl Champs and The Goat. But the real treat was the induction of LT Tra Thomas and RT Jon Runyan to The Eagles Hall of Fame. The duo started 134 regular season games from 00-08. During that span, The Eagles did the following

  • 7 Playoff Appearances

  • 5 NFC East titles

  • 5 NFC Championship Appearances

  • 1 NFC Title

  • 1 Super Bowl appearance

Congratulation to this great OL duo on a great career and great honor.

Bad:

The Bucs lost CB Richard Sherman, debt is an issue now for The Bucs and they must figure something out and quick. The hope is that since they have 10 days before the next game he can rest and heal and be ready to go vs The Bears.

Jalen Hurts had a huge opportunity vs an already depleted secondary, and he did nothing with it. Hurts finished 12 of 26 for 155 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT, he also ran for 44 yard and 2 TDs.

Ugly:

The Eagles are a tale of two teams, in the first half they could not move the ball and had 2 straight 3 and outs. In the second half they scored not only closed the gap on the Bucs but also were able to get a 2 point conversation. The Eagles need to figure out their identity or at least who they want to be if they want to win any games moving forward.

Overall:

The Bucs are hurting but as long they have TB12 hope will be there. The Eagles have to many question to answer to even start thinking about mayne making a playoff run.

Dolphins 20, Jaguars 23

Jags finally win and end a 20-game losing streak

Jacksonville WR Marvin Jones Jr catches a TD pass over a Dolphins CB Noah Igbinoghene/

Jacksonville WR Marvin Jones Jr catches a TD pass over a Dolphins CB Noah Igbinoghene/Jaguars

Good:

Matthew Wright hit a 54 yards FG to tie the game then hits a 53 yard FG to win it, he is the MVP of the game. Lawrence is looking better as he plays more games in the NFL, he was even able to take advantage of The Dolphins decimated secondary to move the ball around.

The Dolphins have Tua Tagovailoa back after a month on IR. In his return to the field the offence looked better right from the start, converting 3 of 3rd downs, and caping a 75 drive with a touchdown.

Bad:

Trevor Lawrence still has to work on ball protection he fumble that ball in the second quarter on a sack. For Lawrence to improve as a QB, he will need to understand better when to run it, throw it away, or tuck it/protect it.

The Dolphins started hot then could not move the ball. They had two drives that were actually moving and could not make them into TD, they did get FG both times. The offense also could not capitalize after a fumble recovery. The Defense also could not stop Lawrence or the running game when they needed it the most.

Ugly:

The Dolphins are now the team that is racking up the L, and with no bye week after the trip to London I do not see it getting better.

Overall:

The Jaguars got a W now build on it for more. The Dolphins need to figure out what is going on or they may be looking at the same streak as The Jaguars.

Packers 24, Bears 14

Rookie Pains is all I can say.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers celebrates his rushing TD/

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers celebrates his rushing TD/ Packers

Good:

The Packers started off slow but got it together and moved the ball great to get another win over The Bears.

The Bears defense stayed the course and pounded The Packers to help the offense as much as they could.

Bad:

The slow start by The Packers is something to worry about moving forward. I do not believe that if they went against a much better team and veteran QB they could make the come back. The Packers defense needs strong, fast and powerful starts by the offense to be able to keep the pace.

Rookie pains, Justin Fields needs to learn (and fast) when to throw away the ball or when to run the ball. A lot of his mistakes (sacks and killed drives) came from not keeping his eyes down field to not seeing where the defense is. For Fields to make a real improvement from game to game then he will need to improve on this issues.

Ugly:

The QB play and play calling for The Bears needs to improves, they stopped playing to Fields strength. If they want to have a stronger performance they need to play the way they played in the first quarter every time.

Overall:

The Packers are fine once they fix the slow start issues. The Bears still have a long way to go.

Bengals 34, Lions 11

The Bengals are a whole new team

Good:

The Bengals have improved so much from 2019 to now. Joe Burrow is moving the ball and not allowing stalled drives to hurt the team, that is how you grow and improve as a franchise QB.

The Lions got 11 points in the 4th quarter.

Bad:

Burrow has 1 INT that I am not sure whose fault it was but still he needs to work on protecting the ball and throwing it so that only his team can get it.

The Lions well look at the ugly part to see what I mean.

Ugly:

The Lions are the only team that is winless in the NFL, they are bad all over. Jared Goff is averaging less than 5 yards per game and can't keep the ball with in there own team. The Lions also have not being able to score in the first half of a game in the last 4 weeks, I am not sure what more to say more from here.

Overall:

The Bengals are moving up and are coming for the more. The Lions may want to start looking at the 09 season and how they were able to win at least 1 game.

Texans 3, Colts 31

The Colts are getting it together

Good:

The Colts came into sunday with a choice let the heartbreak OT loss to The Ravens get in there head, or use it as motivation and win. We all see what happened, they kept their cool and did not allow themselves to rest and loose the lead like the did on Monday night. They are now (if the Titans loose) in a forward move to take the lead in there division.

The Texans are doing their best with what they have.

Bad:

The Colts were 100% today so nothing bad.

The Texans were bad all over simple as that.

Ugly:

Who is not hurt on the Texans roster? lets list them out

  • Danny Amendola WR

  • Justin Britt C

  • Laremy Tunsil LT

  • Terrence Brooks S

  • Chris Conley WR

and that is only from today and not what is already in the report from during the week, I am not sure if they can overcome all the injuries.

Overall:

The Colts got it together and The Texans need to pray for help.

Rams 38, Giants 11

I mean what did any of us expect

Good:

What a performance by The Rams they were clicking all over I mean 28 points in the second quarter, holy cow!!! and the defense forcing 4 TOs is huge they took 100% advantage of the depleted Giants offense and defense.

They scored 11 points so good job.

Bad:

Yeah!!! The Rams had nothing bad today.

Look at the Ugly part.

Ugly:

The Giants are at the bottom and we can say this is another lost season. Injuries pleg them, play calling is not there, and they are playing 3rd string players who aren't ready for the NFL. There is no correct answer here to save the season, I say stay the course hope for the best and clean house at the end of the season and look to next season.

Overall:

The Rams are moving to make a move for the playoffs and The Giants are looking to next season.

Chiefs 31, WFT 13

RIP Sean Taylor #21

Good:

The Chiefs were able to put Washington away which is good and are finally back at 500 and the defense also played better.

Washington's defense improved with 3 TOs and the offense seemed to get things going in the first half which is good.

Bad:

The Chiefs needs to work on the turnovers, from bad decisions to deflected passed off WR hands. If they want to make the playoffs and not be another statistic of the Super Bowl hangover they need to fix it fast.

Even with the defense playing better they could not do anything against the magic that is Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes.

Ugly:

WFT played inconsistent and could not turn the 3 TOs into points, they had a chance to a huge win and set a run but it did not happen.

Overall:

The Chiefs are improving but still I am worried. WFT start looking at next year.

Vikings 34, Panthers 28-OT

What a game?!!!!!

Vikings WR K.J. Osborn celebrates after scoring the game winning TD in OT/

Vikings WR K.J. Osborn celebrates after scoring the game winning TD in OT/Vikings

Good:

The Vikings were able to come out with a win after a very good start to the game.

The Panthers made it a game and could have one so at least they have that going for them.

Bad:

The Vikings won yes, but if they cannot put away teams they will not beat much tougher competition. They keep failing to keep points on the board and then chace them the whole game.

The Panthers offensive line is not protecting Sam Darnold and for them to win games they need to protect him way better. Also CMC needs to stay healthy because lord Darnold is trash without him.

Ugly:

The Vikings need to fix the offensive inconsistency, the defense can only do so much. If they do not fix that soon they won't be able to escape any holes they make for themselves.

Overall:

Vikings fans celebrate you have a win and bye week but that happanies may not last long once they return. The Panthers need help simple as that.

Chargers 6, Ravens 34

What happen to The Chargers

Good:

The Ravens said we are coming for everyone, they made a statement with the win today and The Bills should keep a lookout. The Ravens frustrated Herbert and ran the ball down the necks of The Chargers defense. You can say it was a good day for the Ravens.

Nothing was good by The Chargers in the game.

Bad:

I do not see anything wrong on The Ravens.

The Chargers run defense called in sick today and didn't even show up out of pity like it did last week. They allowed 187 yards and 3 TDs I mean if that doesn't tell you they need to change I am not sure what will.

Ugly:

The Chargers run defense easy.

Overall:

The Ravens are coming for everyone. The Chargers are a good team stay hopeful.

Cardinals 37, Browns 14

The Cardinals stay undefeated

Good:

The Cardinals were missing some important people on Sunday and yet that did not stop them from putting 30+ points on The Browns and that is impressive.

The Browns QB Baker Mayfield played with an injured left shoulder and did his best to keep the game going so at least they have that going for them.

Bad:

What can we say? They are playing great.

The Browns defense who was once top 5 defense in the NFL is now a ghost of itself and the offense was bad.

Ugly:

The Browns defense let WR do whatever they wanted on the field and on offense they turned the ball over way to many times. If want to get back to winning they need to communicate on both side of the ball and of course tighten up on coverage.

Overall:

The Cardinals have a basic bye week next week with the Texans so i'll go ahead and put them at 7-0 right now. The Browns have things to fix before we say they are contenders.

Raiders 34, Broncos 24

The Raiders got a much needed win

Good:

The Raiders used all the emotions that they have had due to the Gruden resignation. They also had interim head coach who has never been a head coach in Rich Bisaccia and were able to pull a win.

The Broncos did what they could to come back and got close but the emotion of The Raiders was going to win the game in the end.

Bad:

They won an emotional game but can they keep using that emotion to win? I am not so sure about that. I'll explain why in The Ugly.

Its time to worry Broncos fans, on both offense and defense. The Offense is sputtering and as much as Teddy is trying to make it work but the coaching staffs is making it hard for him, and the defense is letting people run all over the place. If they want to win they need to focus up and get it together and fast.

Ugly:

Emotions can be good and bad no matter how they started and they used them for good but I am not sure they can keep using them to win. It feels like they might ride a 3 game win streak on emotion but after that it might be there downfall.

Overall:

The Raiders need to use these emotions for good to win as much as they can before they are, brought back down to earth. The Broncos head coach Vic Fangio is on the hot seat and the only way to cool it is to win and win now.

Cowboys 35, Patriots 29-OT

HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS?!!!!!

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb stretches the ball over the goal line for the game winning TD while looking at Patriots CB Jalen Mills/

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb stretches the ball over the goal line for the game winning TD while looking at Patriots CB Jalen Mills/Dallas Cowboys

Good:

Dak Prescott TD pass to CeeDee Lamb was The Cowboys 2,500th touchdown since 1960, which is the most in the NFL in that span. They use that momentum to come back from a bad game and win it all.

The Patriots are playing interesting and is keeping them in games which is good, and the defense did stop The Cowboys when it counted most. If they keep going they might be able to pull some wins.

Bad:

The Cowboys need to work on the penalties at one point it was 11 penalties for 100 yards, each one of those penalties caused a drive to stall. If they want to make a run that is one thing they need to fix. The worry now is they have a bye next week can come back from that and keep winning is yet to seen.

The Patriots are playing well but I am not sure the strategy that they are using is capable of winning games versus top opponents. Had The Cowboys not shot themselves in the foot with penalties (and the refs actually call a good game) this game would have been a much different outcome.

Ugly:

I will say this on The Ugly both teams have questions but it was a good game just glad my team won.

Overall:

The Cowboys are bang up so the bye is coming at the right time but we will be looking at the week after the bye hoping they stay winning. The Patriots played a better game but still have to many questions.

Seahawks 23, Steelers 20-OT

We are praying for a speedy recovery for Seahawks DE Darrell Taylor

Cydney Nunn Granddaughter of Steelers Scout Bill Nunn, Donnie Shell, Alan Faneca, Troy Polamalu, and Bill Cowher take a picture together alongside Steelers owner Art Rooney II. During halftime after receiving there Football Hall of Fame Rings during Steelers Alumni weekend/Steelers

Good:

The Steelers defense came through when it needed it the most, especially their high prized LB T.J. Watt who had two sacks in OT in which one he forced a fumble to set up the game-winning FG. If they stay healthy and strong like they did in the first half and OT then The Steelers can salvage the season.

The Seahawks rallying around Gino Smith and Alex Collins's huge second-half performance to take the game into overtime and almost win the game this gives hope that they can win just enough games to stay in the competition for a playoff spot till Russell Wilson comes back from injury.

Bad:

The Steelers offense is not sure who they are or who they want to be, this is to be concerned with because they are not showing they can blend or stay consistent throughout the game. The defense is also playing inconsistent they held The Seahawks scoreless in the first half then allowed 14 points in just the 3rd quarter to keep the seahawks in the game and I am not happy about that at all.

The question everyone is asking is can The Seahawks save their season? and I mean yes they have a chance if they play like they did in the second half but I am just not sure they can, they have dug a very deep hole.

Ugly:

The Ugly here is simply the injury to Seahawks DE Darrell Taylor and we just hope he's okay. Per HC Peter Carroll "CT scans were clear and that Taylor, [and] was moving his extremities"

Overall:

The Steelers found a way to win but I am not so sure they can keep winning till they fix the inconsistencies in both the Offense and Defense. The Seahawks need a miracle to stay in playoff hopes but I am not sure it is enough.

Buffalo 34, Titans 31

A Few things before we start.

We hope for a speedy recovery of Titans LT Taylor Lewan who left the game in a stretcher

The Bills Defense had ONE FREAKING JOB and they couldn’t even do that.

Titans RB Derrick Henry runs past Bills defenders on his way to a 75 yard TD during Monday nights game/Tennessee Titans

Good:

The Titans proved that they are as good as advertised, and that incident with versus The Jets was a one-off. They balance the game with a dominating rushing attack from Derrick Henry that helped open up the passing game for A.J. Brown and Julio Jones. If they keep it up, they can be real threats in the AFC.

The Bills lost again to The Titans, but there are a few positives here.

  1. They kept it close.

  2. They now know what has to be worked on to get back on track.

  3. The Bye week is here.

  4. The schedule moving forward is favorable to keep them in the run in the playoffs.

They will bounce back, just sometimes we need games like this to remember we are not perfect and we can always be better than the day before.

Bad:

The Titans offense is clicking like a well-run machine. Defensively, on the other hand, they are hurting worse than me after Indian food. The secondary is seriously banged up with CB Kristian Fulton on IR, CB Caleb Farley was injured during the game, and Chris Jackson was in and out of the game due to a foot injury. They still have Breon Borders to fill the hole at CB, with matches versus Tyreek Hill, T.Y Hilton, and Cooper Kupp coming up. I am not sure if that secondary can hold up enough to keep The Titans in the game.

The Bills had a lot of issues, and i’ll go over them in the ugly because WOW!!!!!! I was not expecting it at all!!!!

Ugly:

The Bills defense allowed The titans to score on all 3 possession in the second half. They could not stop Derrick Henry he rushed for 143 yards and 2 TDs (one was 75 yards), and in the 4th quarter when they needed a stop, INT, or an incompletion they couldn't get it. Which was shown by Ryan Tannehill going 9 of 9 for 103 yards. The pass rush was bad, Ryan Tannehill had way too much time (as stated above) to sit in the pocket and move/throw the ball. If we go back and look at when he was under pressure they had a chance to make plays. If this is not fixed ASAP say goodbye to the top AFC spot. The Offense was no better, Josh Allen was under pressure a lot and no one could get open the run game was just above par but not enough to open the passing game for them. I will say in my opinion that 4th and 1 play at the end of the game was more on Josh Allen slipping than The Titans defense stuffing the line and hitting the hole at the right time.

Overall:

The Titans are contenders but with a questionable secondary and a heavy stretch of games coming up the trust test begins. The Bills are a good team and have a lot to work on, if they can fix the issues then the NFL better watch out.
