PASADENA, CA -(RYM)- What was first considered a new health trend, in the last 20 years has swept the fitness world as a new form of getting the body many have envisioned for themselves.

Body sculpting, according to an article by Perez Plastic Surgery, In the late 1980s and early 1990s was considered to be a new concept.

“Several surgeons from Europe and South America began experimenting with a new concept. These surgeons began using ultrasound energy at a specific frequency to selectively destroy fat cells.” - Jorge A. Perez, M.D. F.A.C.S

An interesting thing to note, however, is that Ultrasonic energy at this time was considered to be a well-recognized subject in the world of medicine. Most commonly used in pregnancies, it has also been utilized for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. (Perez, 2003)

A non-invasive method of destroying fat cells, and making noticeable changes to the body, seemed like a very daunting task at the time. However, now it is something much more recognized as a potentially great treatment for those looking to shed those cells from the body.

A new company, Waisted, based in Pasadena, California, Has taken on this practice and introduced it into their new business venture focusing on health and fitness.

During the grand opening, the owners of the new business shared how the process made a true difference for them in their lives, so they wanted to share what helped them with others.

In addition, they opened up about why health and fitness were merged into the business, citing the current obesity epidemic in the U.S. and wanting to address the issue head-on.

While this non-invasive procedure is statistically proven to be much safer than the latter invasive surgery, it does come with some minor side effects. According to a recent breakdown of the process written by Kathryn Watson in collaboration with Catherine Hannan, M.D., while the process is safe there are some side effects a person should know about when contemplating the use of this service for their own lives: The effects include:

  • redness

  • bruising

  • headache

“In some cases, the skin won’t absorb the fat evenly after it breaks down. Lumps, bumps, and valleys on your skin can appear after ultrasonic cavitation treatment. These skin irregularities may be resolved by follow-up treatments.” - Kathryn Watson, Catherine Hannan, M.D., (healthline 2020)

Women who have taken these treatments have also confirmed some of these side effects, however all in all statistically it is proven to be a safer alternative.

The team at “Waisted” spoke during a live demonstration about all the details behind how this works, and what can be done to achieve the highest possible results.

One thing to be sure of when doing this kind of procedure is to be aware that while this can help a person get that “snatched” body it takes more than this service to keep it that way. If you just to the service, and do not take care of the other aspects of your health, the possibilities of your weight returning, and possibly even gaining more are very high.

With that being said the team at “Waisted” ensured us that is why they have opened more services tied to the health side of a body rather than just cavitation. For them they want to help their clients achieve the best results, and KEEP THEM.
