His track Boyle Heights Rifa was an homage to his home years in the making. RYM first heard about the track in 2019, however, it was not until last year that the official music video was released
Fast-forward to 2023 and while many changes have come for Vargas the biggest one is the realization of being a solo act.

During the filming, a serendipitous rainstorm added an extra layer of drama to the video, with thunder and rain captured on camera. Vargas even shared a lighthearted moment with the crew, joking about a scene where he fell and the crew's skeptical reaction. This behind-the-scenes glimpse into the production process highlights the dedication and creativity that went into bringing the video to life.

"They just didn't see the vision that I had, and it just didn't work out. [speaking on the creative direction] Sometimes it's just like that, especially when you are not the only voice involved."
It has often been said that in group projects, if the mindset of the group goes in different directions, then the final goal cannot be reached. Vargas can attest to this as he reflects on his time in a group. However, as his journey continues towards his goal as a solo act, he has started to make a name for himself in the Los Angeles area. Landing marquee performances, Vargas is eager for people to hear his music and get to know him for who he truly is.
