The Real Mamas of California stars Raizza Brown and Niky Aguilera, two California moms from opposite ends of the state – Raizza from the bustling heart of Los Angeles and Niky from the vibrant Bay Area. Despite their geographical differences, they share a common bond: the experience of juggling careers, raising families, and navigating the ever-present financial realities of California living.
This isn't your typical reality show. Forget the glamorized portrayals; The Real Mamas of California delves into the relatable, messy, and often laugh-out-loud aspects of motherhood. From navigating the workforce challenges as moms to the triumphs and tribulations of raising children, Raizza and Niky bring real conversations to the table, tackling topics that resonate with moms everywhere.
But it's not all serious business! The show also features lighter moments, like the hilarious "Glam Mama vs. Broke Mama Items" segment, where Raizza and Niky compare high-end and budget-friendly finds, proving that laughter is truly the best medicine (especially when you're sleep-deprived).

About the Creators:
Niky Aguilera: Niky Aguilera wears many hats: a production manager for a burgeoning beach lifestyle brand, a passionate advocate for animal rights, environmentalism, human rights, and minimalism. And most importantly, a dedicated wife, mama, and dog mom. Growing up in the Bay Area and graduating from the University of California at Davis, Niky has alwaysembraced an active and mindful lifestyle. When she's not leading the charge at work, you can find her exploring new destinations, conquering hiking trails, or sipping a cup of coffee at a local coffee house. But amidst the whirlwind of responsibilities, Niky cherishes family time with her husband, their adorable daughter, and their furry companion, Charlie the pug. While juggling motherhood and a demanding career, Niky finds solace in the world of reality TV, particularly the drama and humor of Bravo's Real Housewives franchise. This shared passion, coupled with her desire to connect with other moms navigating similar challenges, led to the co-creation of The Real Mamas of California: Broke & Tired Edition.
Raizza Brown: The FIDM alumni began her corporate career in San Francisco a few days after graduating. On her way to Las Vegas to celebrate, while pumping gas, Raizza received a call from a major corporate retail fashion recruiter for a job offer. Thus beginning her fashion career. Cue in the scene: a combination from her favorite TV series ‘Ugly Betty’ and of course ‘Devil Wears Prada’. Always in heels- starting from the bottom as a Stylist Assistant and Production Coordinator to the top ranks of Production Management and Demand Planner. As being a mom, a future bride, and a career woman is not enough, her passion for sweets and creativity turned into a side business. Catching the attention of FOX 11, her homemade cookies were featured in a segment. She is now known as the “Cookie Lady” in her neighborhood. Currently, she ponders when she will have time for a cycle class or yoga by the Pacific Ocean which was once part of her daily routine before becoming a mom. Although this isn’t on her agenda, she would not trade an alternative time to being a mother as it has always been her number one dream role of a lifetime.
