Los Angeles, California (April 8, 2025)- Country powerhouse Parmalee has officially returned with Fell In Love With A Cowgirl, their first studio album in four years, now available everywhere. Released on April 4, the seven-track project showcases the band’s fresh take on modern country while holding tight to the heartfelt storytelling that has defined their career.

The album features the rising hit “Cowgirl,” which continues to climb the country radio charts, as well as the reflective opener “Feels Like Home,” and fan favorite “God Knew Better”—a soulful, mid-tempo ballad that the band calls “like running into an old friend you didn’t know you needed to see.”

To celebrate the album’s launch, Parmalee took the stage this morning on NBC’s Today show, performing “Cowgirl” live for its national television debut. “It felt amazing to bring this new music to the Today Show stage,” said the band. “This album means so much to us, and we’re excited to finally share it with everyone.”

Produced by David Fanning—with James Daniel Lewis co-producing the title track—the album marks the beginning of a two-part series that dives deeper into Parmalee’s evolution as both artists and storytellers. From intimate lyrics to infectious hooks, Fell In Love With A Cowgirl reflects on love in all its forms, from the exhilarating highs to the quiet, grounding moments of connection.

One of the album’s emotional high points is “God Knew Better,” co-written with Abram Dean, David Fanning, Jamie Collazo, and Andy Albert. The track pays tribute to the unexpected peace found in true love and serves as a reminder of the band’s knack for crafting songs that strike a personal chord.

The tracklist for Fell In Love With A Cowgirl includes:

  1. Feels Like Home

  2. Day One

  3. God Knew Better

  4. Cowgirl

  5. Enough

  6. Beautiful

With over a billion on-demand streams and five No. 1 singles under their belt, Parmalee has continued to raise the bar for country bands. Brothers Matt and Scott Thomas, cousin Barry Knox, and longtime friend Josh McSwain have become staples on country radio thanks to hits like “Carolina,” “Just the Way,” “Take My Name,” and “Girl In Mine.”

Their Fell In Love With A Cowgirl Tour, which kicked off in February, continues across North America in 2025, bringing the new songs to life on stage for fans old and new. As the most-played group on country radio in 2023 and 2024, Parmalee proves once again that they’re not just keeping up—they’re setting the pace.

Fell In Love With A Cowgirl is available now on all streaming platforms.
