Los Angeles, California -(RYM)- Throughout history, there have been musical pieces that have left their mark on generation after generation, as is the case of "No Huyas de Mí" by Kenny y Los Eléctricos. This emblematic Spanish rock song has prevailed over time, accumulating more than 32 million views on Spotify alone.

Now, Belén Gal, a renowned Argentine singer based in Mexico, joins Kenny y Los Eléctricos to bring an exciting salsa version of the iconic "No Huyas de Mí" to life. This new interpretation marks an important moment in Belen Gal's career, as it is the first time this rock classic has been turned into salsa.

In the words of Kenny: "This song was originally released in 1988 and, although it's a love song, curiously none of the three of us were going through that experience at the time. It was originally going to be called 'Tengo roto el corazón' (I Have a Broken Heart), but Ricardo Ochoa decided to call it 'No Huyas de Mí' (Don't Run Away from Me). In the end, it was the audience who gave it the name 'Tengo roto el corazón'."

The new version of "No Huyas de Mí" was produced by Geovanis Alcántara López, a renowned music producer known for his ability to blend different styles.

The music video is a performance filmed in the Alcaldía Iztapalapa, Mexico City, under the direction of Ada Odreman and the production of Rabbit House, led by Mona Moreno Fernández. Each shot reflects the energy of Belén Gal and Kenny, fusing their essence to bring this new version of "No Huyas de Mi" to life.

"Transforming 'No Huyas de Mí' into a salsa song is a huge achievement for me, it's a symbol of my integration into Mexico's vibrant music scene and a tribute to the legacy of Kenny y Los Eléctricos. This song has always made me feel like a part of this country that I now consider my home," expressed Belen Gal.

Belen Gal continues to expand her musical horizons. This collaboration with Kenny y Los Eléctricos promises to captivate fans of salsa and rock alike.

Upcoming Performances:

Belen Gal will perform on August 31st at the Salsa Fest Orizaba, where she will perform this new version along with other hits from her repertoire.
