Lata Mangeshkar was the iconic voice behind so many of the most popular songs to come from Bollywood cinema and music.

LAS VEGAS, NV -(RYM)- The Biggest night in music as many seem to know the 2022 Grammys aired tonight, and while the in memoriam featured many prominent members of the music industry one legend was missing, Lata Mangeshkar.

Known as the Indian Playback Singer, Queen of Melody, Nightingale of India, and Voice of the Millennium, many were upset to see her be snubbed by the 2022 Grammys.

Langeshkar’s legendary career spanned over 70 years, and her accolades truly do speak for themselves.

the late thespian Dilip Kumar as well was absent in the In Memoriam section.

This is the second snub to come against the Nightingale of India, as she was also snubbed in the In Memoriam portion of the 2022 Oscars, and her fans were upset, however many unsurprised.

Mangeshkar Passed Away Earlier this year, and her life was celebrated by her many fans who knew her for her eight-decade long career. Recognized as an icon whose songs are featured in over 1,000+ Films in India, like Shree 420, Mughal-E-Azam, Veer-Zaara and more.
