Lainey Wilson Releases Highly-Anticipated Album "Whirlwind," Gears Up for Extensive Tour

Los Angeles, California (August 24, 2024)- Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician Lainey Wilson has unleashed her highly anticipated new album, Whirlwind, via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville.
Produced by the esteemed Jay Joyce (Miranda Lambert, Eric Church), Whirlwind boasts 14 captivating tracks showcasing Wilson's signature songwriting style. The album's title track also gets its official music video premiered Friday at 2:30 PM ET on YouTube.
Fresh off the heels of her chart-climbing single "Hang Tight Honey," Whirlwind promises to be another smash hit for Wilson.
"Whirlwind is kind of the Western sister of Bell Bottom Country," Wilson explains. "Since that album, I've experienced so much and met incredible people. It's made me a better songwriter with a deeper understanding of the world. This album feels like I've truly found my calling, ironically within all the craziness – that's the whirlwind."
Whirlwind adds another chapter to Wilson's already triumphant career. In the past year alone, she's been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, won Album of the Year at the 2024 Grammys, swept awards at the ACMs and CMAs (including Entertainer of the Year at both), and recently received prestigious honors at the ACM Honors.
A powerhouse live performer, Wilson continues to conquer the road with her extensive "Country's Cool Again" tour. Upcoming stops include sold-out shows at iconic venues like Los Angeles' Greek Theatre and Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.
Hailing from Baskin, Louisiana, Wilson has established herself as a global force in country music. Since her 2016 debut, she's toured extensively, garnered critical acclaim, and penned chart-topping hits not only for herself but also for artists like Post Malone, Dolly Parton, and Luke Combs.
