MARINA DEL REY -(RYM)- Halima Aden, made a huge statement when she emaerged into the fashion world. However, she made an even larger impact when she decided to leave. Her refusal to continue to compromise her beliefs led her away from the fashion industry, but open the eyes of the public to an even greater problem that is often ignored.
While she continues to slay in her fashion choices, now she has moved forward from one industry to now creating a name for herself as an executive producer. She already has quite a few credits under her belt from the last few years, but she speaks with us during the Heirs of Africa, 4th Annual International Women of Power Awards Presentation.
