A press conference held earlier this week featured organizers, as well as talents Marucci, and Members From Grupo Garibaldi. The organizers promise a festival, unlike anything, is ever done before. Assuring that there will be something there for everybody. [Sign me up NOW!]. They are hoping with the potential success of the flagship in Lynwood it can grow to become a regional or national Festival that can come to a city near you.

With all of this being said, a real standout in the press conference came from hearing of the reunion of Latin Icon Super Group, Grupo Garibaldi. Press in attendance dove deep into questioning from how many members will perform to the potential for new music, and even potential collaborations.

As members, Charly Lopez, and Sergio Mayer addressed all the concerns. It became very clear that Garibaldi is back and RELOADED!

The human being does not only feed on food. If not, you have to feed yourself intellectually and emotionally. Music passes barriers, borders, languages, and more. It is something very beautiful in the heart and soul and we have to feed ourselves just that too.
— Sergio Mayer

Mayer and Perez opened up to RYM about what it feels like to have this reunion, and the passion for music they both have. Their work ethic, and drive seen in them as well as Grupo Garibaldi as a whole pretense for an incredible performance, and even an upcoming tour!

Music is sensible. It moves you, it excites your feelings, it transports you to places, situations and people. That’s the important thing about music. To have no limits.
— Charly Lopez
