Director Dale Fabrigar, alongside producers, Suzanne DeLaurentiis, and Alison Perry share the story of the Central Oregon Veterans Ranch, which focuses on the real-life stories of veterans healing and growing on their new paths.

HOLLYWOOD, CA -(RYM)- The health of veterans takes a toll on the body of the military. A recent report, written by, Patricia Kime, and published by Millitary.com showed a difference in statistics of suicides in the United States Military. The publication compared statistics from independent researchers, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. The VA’s latest stats were published this past Monday, September 19th, however, new analysis 2 days prior to the publishing, unidentified independent researchers shows a rate of more than double the VA’s estimate when accounting for: death certificate and records errors, accidental drug overdoses, and unexplained deaths. As Veterans seek what they need to enter a state of normalcy following their service, Many are searching for alternatives for their next step. The Central Oregon Veterans Ranch, focuses on doing just that while helping every veteran that comes through their doors. Founder, Alison Perry, a former trauma therapist for the Portland, Oregon VA Medical Center, found herself seeing firsthand what it was like for veterans after their service was complete.
This vision was the fire starter for Perry that led to what the COVR has become today. Perry spoke with RYM with regard to both how they have progressed, and a more in-depth look at why they do what they do during the premiere of the film.

Over the weekend, a red carpet premiere of the film was held at the CineLounge in Hollywood, CA
